John Parris Ultimate....

One of my mates has asked me to post this on here basically to see how much you think he could get for his parris ultimate cue....

Specs are:

54 3/4" long
510 grammes
9mm tip
16 1/4" balance point
4 lower splices of thuya burr.

It would come with a cheddar classics case, mini butt, telescopic extension. This is one of the older ones with red glue on the splices and he has had it from brand new, Its number 401.

Length would be an issue, probably have to entirely redo the secondary splices to add some length to it. Think for Thyua burl thats around £120 ish. It is a nice looking cue though.

at that spec not a lot 350-450 i would guess. it needs a huge amount of money spent to be more commercial not sure it would be worth doing.

That was my guess, 350 to 450.. Under 55 inch, wow, that's one rare spec..

Be well over a ton to get it to proper spec, resplicing\ lengthning the butt, new sd joint, new ferrule and a refinish. Probably have to have another half inch taken off the top to take it upto 9.5mm.

cheaper and easier to get a new butt make and have a pool spec and a snooker spec.
