29.7 mm butt, 16.5" balance point.

stiff ash shaft with dark ash and few arrows near tip.

What's the finish like on their 3 star cues? My mate has 1 of their standard cues and the finish was a bit strange it wasn't lacquered but it wasn't a normal oiled finish either (little bit sticky). Also what tip is on the cue now? I might know someone from my local club who would be interested

hi rob, shaft is oil finshed mate, very smooth. since its my playing cue for the min i have few week ago put a wooldridge super tip on.

all splices on the cue are tight and perfect. cant really fault the cue, i bought this cue and my mate bought another which i had on here a month ago. it had thruya burr splices. andy gibb bought that from me and his opinion was the same, faultless and he rates them highly.

my mate had one before and it had a laquer on it, Sanded it down to oil the complete cue and the butt was painted on. Dont know it is with this one but its the same make cue, the splicing wood was real but the ebony was paint

Same maker but different model. Mine is a 3 star one which is highest in their range. And has been confirmed to be ebony and oiled shaft by andy gibbs who has been making cues for 30 years

They do make some cheap junk but the three star cues are very good,in my opinion.
