very nice technique you have, nice and flowing.

the only two points I will mentioned are:
    1) bridge distances appears too long
    2) after the first couple of shots you stop walking into the shot
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Well done Stevie, just the walking in part as Dean mentioned earlier. I think that was why you missed the red at 1:57min. Overall I think you showed good form. Nice pace.

You should up the ante a bit by potting the reds in sequence...

Hi Stevie mate, I've put a link to thread in the coaching section as well just in case some of the coaches wouldn't notice this thread...

I wouldn't be of much help but your looking good not much too wrong with your technique, when shortening the bridge distance you may need to grip the cue more down the butt, this has some good tips to follow including the drill... http://www.fcsnooker.co.uk/coaching/.../the_drill.htm

Nice looking technique, had a go at filming myself yesterday and I was quite surprised on what my technique looked like. My bridge hand is further back than yours and my final backswing comes all the way to my bridge hand with a very minimal rear pause.
Very different to how it feels, such a strange feeling watching yourself play!
I'm in no position to offer any advice but you do have a nice looking cue action!!

I agree with Dean - and would expand on the last out he made about walking into the shot - not so much walking into the shot but you should at least stand in line upright behind it first and pick out the shot line and try and do this on every shot.

Sometimes it looks like you change your mind on a shot and pick another as you are getting down you try and find the line - this is lazy technique buddy - I think you would make a big improvement if you actually stood behind the line of the shot in hand with your chin right behind the shot and get everything in line first - take a little more time to focus on the position and shot you need and imagine the shot going in and then get down and play it - dont rush this part just because it is an easy shot - give every shot the same consideration and assess properly before getting down. In effect stand chin or nose behind each shot imagine the shot going in and position you want the white to finish in before you walk in or get down and play it. Other technical stuff can be worked on later but this will bring you the greatest rewards and make you look more like a player too.

Thanks for that tip. I will try that.

To Removal man stevie. I'm no expert but you look pretty solid there with a good technique.
                            Were are you playing?
