friendship requests

A bit quiet at work this morning, so having a good old explore on TSF.

I just noticed that i had a couple of friend requests pending, i had no idea they were there waiting to be accepted, or when they were made.

Could there be some kind of notification (facebook style) when you get or make a friend request otherwise you dont know they are there ?

By default you should receive an email-notification about it, dannyd0g.
BTW, I think PMs would be the better option as they would be easier to spot, but I'm not sure if anything can be done about it.

Just checked that now, and i do have that option ticked. But i didnt receive any emails.

Perhaps you've problems receiving emails from TSF in general. I've experienced the same thing. My account activation had to be set up manually for example.
You could try to make an own filter for emails containing thesnookerforum in their bodies in order for them not to be marked as a spam and automatically deleted.

you may be right, although im not sure as I do receive notifications of TSF PMs with no problem

i will look into my email filters anyway.

That's strange indeed. Perhaps someone else will be able to come up with different explanation.

I've had the same thing, too, and I'd prefer to be notified by PM too, I have to admit. Can it be set up like that?

Only just noticed this myself... I didn't get any emails either! Out of interest are you using a hotmail account? Perhaps it's that?

I'm using hotmail account too - but have received the email-notifications about friend requests, no problems.
