Well, to be honest, it's one of my locals; but it's close enough! (if we get one embedded into the site, these co-ords could be transferred yeah?)

I'll cope Rane; teethin problems you might say.

Wonder if there's a way to have the push-pins pulled out slightly at the lowest zoom levels so you can see more of them instead of them hiding in each others shadow Mark? "I'm liking your work".

guys, the map thing is amazing. Even more so, it is like google earth, but does not even try to freeze up on the old computer I am sitting at the moment.
Just saw our 'village' in Israel and my brother's house in Germany (definitely more detail over there).
If ever you get the pins in, stick me in the middle of Israel (or ask for coordinates then).

Once I iron out an issue or two, any member can go in and update their 'pin' or location - I'll keep you all updated.

I found a temporary map - not a good as Google, but displays all visitors' locations. You can view a thumbnail on the main page side links here.

Clicking it will take you to a larger view on the host site.

I will continue to get GoogleMaps working this week...

Curtis, any idea why my point (assuming it is mine only) is so huge on that map?

I think it's all visits, not just unique visitors, so if you checked this forum more than 10 times yesterday (and I think you did), you'll get a bigger spot.

And in the same way, I now know where Winnipeg is because Curtis was on the forum so much yesterday his spot covers half of Canada .

oh, that is a bit embarrasing. I wonder what visists entails then (each time you log in, view threads)

I think it'll be each time you view the home page.

Nothing embarrasing about it, I probably visited this site about 100 times on my own yesterday. In fact, take pride in your forum contributions!
