Now seriously, I'm a mod myself on another forum and we are not tolerant at all regarding bullying or being abusive. But when we are forced to take some harsh action we always take care to explain why ... to the person and to the members (unless it's something touching privacy or interpersonal relationship)
That to me is a minimum when it comes to respect to people and freedom of speech.

I feel for Paul because I think he needs help and badly.

Don´t you think this might be touching privacy as well? But putting it on a public forum isn´t the "minimum of respect" you "stand for".

As far as I read it I didn't disclose any private details other than what already had transpired. And I'm not a mod on THIS forum. Just a member. If that was out of order, the mods could and should have warned me and deleted the post.

saying someone needs help is rather private imo and I know you´re the mod of Ronnie´s forum but changing the "tasks" on a forum doesn´t mean you change your mind as well. I also don´t come up with private matters of tsf members i got to know.

perceptions to the table, and respect each other for sharing those gifts.

If one of those offerings is a fart [ or something even more substantial ], we don't need a Big Brother to moderate us,

Ja. is off premod. Not particularly because I'm eager to read what gem she posts next, but it seems that's what would make people happier, and I think she's been punished enough. Ferret may disagree, in which case this may be a short-lived reprieve.

Regarding the insults, nazi comparisons, demands and noel's graphics though - just keep in mind that you're dealing with people who give up their time and money to run a site for your enjoyment, please? Realistically this is a privately owned corner of the internet, its patrons are valued but are free to vote with their feet, and ferret is free to protect what he's built (or just make his job easier) in whatever way he feels appropriate. The fact that this site continues to grow while others have come and gone isn't entirely in spite of the way it's run.
