A rubber would be better than latex.

It's up to Curtis of course, but to be honest it seems like a lot of effort for a feature that would probably only be used in one thread (and an off-topic thread at that, much as I'm a fan).
Even then, the spirit of the puzzles thread is in questions that anyone can have a go at with only a basic level of maths, whereas Latex only comes into it's own in more advanced stuff.
In short, if it was up to me, I just don't see a strong enough case to justify the work required. Sorry
