I notice i have the no avatar, avatar in my profile, are we allowed to change it as the option is off in the control panel if not i understand bandwidth and all that...

Go to top right of screen and hit "user control panel"




then go to "my settings" and click on "edit avatar"



You should be able to take it from there. You might need to shrink pics in a photo editor to get it small enough, if your using a pic of your own, rather than a pre selected one from the list.
