Is it me or is this forum being over ran with advertising? I realise it will in some way pay for the running of this site but i have just had a right game trying to sign in because some form of advert was right in the way of where i put my name to sign in, i must have requested 5 times to stop seeing this ad, yet each time i sign in its back, it seems all my favourite sites are being taken over by ads that i doubt anyone is interested in seeing, i wish they would just all disappear!

Having same problem,every time I delete history and refresh have to sign back in,struggle because of this advert.

It is a pain with the Ipad.......i just type in one letter , press enter and its says password incorrect [ As you can't type into the box as the advert is in the way ] , so then Login box appears lower down and i use my 2nd attempt to Login .

Only happens on the Ipad , no issues on the laptop .

I've tried everything to get rid of it as well .

Works with most browsers, sometimes it can cause other issues (like with googe hangouts/gmail) but these are quite rare occurrences.

Edit: looks like this won't work for Apple products, but apparently there is an equivalent on itunes, not sure how good it is - worth a try though!

Furthermore it breaks 4od and itvplayer. Personally I use Adblock with firefox and chrome without - I'll switch to FF when im doing something with ads that **** me off.

yep chrome full screen = no pop ups

I uninstalled Adblocker+ sometime ago, as it was causing more issues than it solved

I know i'm a miserable bstard, advertising in any form just annoys me, and when its getting in the way of what i'm trying to view it makes my blood boil lol.

bottom left of the home page select mobile style from the iPad and there are no adverts!

I turned the top advert off and to get rid of the big one on the left just click the arrow next to where it says recommended to minimise that box.

VIP members as of next week will see not Google Adsense adverts
