There is a great section of snooker results and statistics on this website. I just wondered if the last season will be added or is there a technical problem?

The Crucible stuff is going to be a bit difficult because it is a big job, but the rest of it will be shortly.

I think it is up to date to the China Open at least.

With the exception of the Crucible section, all the stats WERE in fact updated in May, after the 2007 World Championship. However, I had not always updated the sentence that stated when it was last updated!

Most of it should be up to date now; let me know if there is anything missing – use this thread if you like.

If you don't know what you're looking for, click the yellow 'Forum' button on the homepage and scroll down to the Stats area near the bottom.

Slightly off topic, but I think one of those top buttons should link directly to the stats section. It's such a huge part of the site but I bet a lot of people miss it, especially those who only browse by the homepage. If you agree I'm sure we could lobby ferret to squeeze a red button on there, or replace the links button which is old and redundant anyway.

Yes, don't forget the 'lastest post' date can be a bit misleading.

A lot of the updates occur just by updating a post that already exists. So the 'date of last posting' will not change. It is only when you open the thread that you see that something last posted in July 06 was in fact edited in August 07!

The Statman may to be too modest to agree to this, but all that work should be more readily accessed and not effectively hidden away where those that dont already know its there in advance may never find it.

Well i agree, As ive been here nearly 12 months and this is the first ive heard of it It would be great to see all these stats for sure!

In that case I'll put in a request to ferret when he's sorted out the more urgent issues and is back on the job full time. I've made up the new set of buttons that fit (and redone the dodgy looking chat and gallery buttons which didn't hover) here. (files here)

Let me know if there are any obvious errors such as alphabetisation or whatnot, as these tables are fiendishly fiddly to update.

We seem to have lost the direct link to the stats section in the recent changes. Is it possible to restore this ?

Also, will The Statman be continuing to update this section in the future ?
