VBulletin has a great bookmakers modification, It allows you to post betting coupons, and the members can then bet on the outcomes with virtual money.

A bit of fun really, that works great on a Vbulletin football forum i am on.

If the admin team want to take a look i can pm the link of the site, so you can see the Vbookie?

I think it would lend itself well to snooker matches etc....

i luv the concept of betting & taking risks but in reality, it can do more harm than good UNLESS u have the luck of the Irish

There has never been a problem on T'other site.


Same as i say, if an admin wants the link, i will glady share, but don't know the rules on giving links to members etc.

I know of vBookie, I've used it as a member of other forums and if I recall we even had something similar here a few forum versions ago. I actually think it would be a great addition and if it takes an admin to organise the events I'd be happy to do so. Ferret's the only one who can install things on here but if there's interest I'm sure he'll look into it.

(There are no rules on links by the way, feel free to post if other members want a look )

It all looks proffessional, is another point i wanted to make, A link at the top of the board, takes you to the Vbookie.

I do already know of this modification and I will put it on to my list of things to look at.

First things first though I am currently working closely with the site owners to still resolve a few bugs that we have had for awhile on here, when this is all done I will be making a few changes like a new reputation mod.

I will keep you all posted with the progress.
