Is there any way the date could either be changed to the date-month-year format instead of month-date-year, or otherwise change the month to letters instead of numbers? It's so confusing!

And, what about adding Mon, Tue etc. This makes it much easier to check whether a comment was made before or after a certain match or whatever.

I second that. I am constantly confused the way the date is now.
Date - month - year would be the best.
