I think it's quite clever Ferret. No reason to edit post after someone replied to it. But if nobody replied for 5 mins, and there's still a mistake, what's then?
Is there an option to close edit option after someone replied to that post?

If you close the edit function after someone's replied to the thread you'll have difficulties with those threads that contain changing information in the first post, like e.g. broadcasting schedules.
It was discussed earlier to allow only certain users to change their threads for those reasons.
Yet I think the editing function should be left as it is. In the example Semih_Sayginer posted today I wasn't able to find any damage done to the board. But it's good if old messages can be restored IF threads are disjointed by user's action.
