I wonder how this impacts the site's 'bandwidth'? It doesnt, the code is telling the browser to go get the picture from your photobucket account not from the hosting server so it will not use up any bandwidth on TheSnookerForums hosting account.

thought so , no more attachments for me then, image shack all the way - might have to make sure the file isn't as big as the previous one for slower connection speeds tho.

So if bandwidth is ever an issue on this site, Admin could just put a few links to image hosting sites and encourage us to use them rather than TSF holding our images; it would save the phrase, "not an extension of your hard drive'!

funny if we ever had imbedded media players showing clips directly in forum threads if this still wouldn't use up tsf's quota; 56k warning would become popular phrase & a Whiz Bang Connection forum would spring up for sure.

Bandwidth these days should never be a problem unless the site owner is a right tight ass soab :-)

I give all of my customers 100GB a month transfer rate - I'll give you an idea so far this month www.The-return.co.uk have used 2.29GB in total and they have on average 12 plays a day of their MP3's on the site and an average of 8,000 visits a month

heading for using 5% for the month then; shackles an artist wouldn't want to be confined by - good sound for this band too, it's really good to see bands making their way in the trade; must be great for them that one person listening could send them off into a lifelong orbit of success.

wonder what this site's running at - seasonal albeit, a hit counter would be an obvious suggestion, somehow to acknowledge the visitors too wouldn't be a bad idea. they've a stats page a link is on one of my 'suggestion' posts.

A stats page would be good even if it shown how many differant countries visitors were coming from.

the 'statistics' on the homepage are pretty restricted compared to what's available from this link.

in TOTAL since the site started now we're talking - anyhow, off to mastermind my famous chilli, tempranillo wine and Big Bruvva surprise eviction tonight. Bed bugs et al.

might have to chop down the size of that screen grab!!!!

ferret has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.

oh oh, will send it later kiddo.
