    Hi all

well that was hard-going, no TSF to chat on with snooker on

That was a serious hack and it destroyed the server TSF was located on.

A new server was sourced, configured, and TSF rebuilt from back up by TSF tech team assisted by vBulletin.

I hope you are well and did not suffer too much separation anxiety!
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Good to be back, I'm lucky I forgot my password, for a week I've been trying to log on only to get mozilla needs authentication to proceed, lucky I have a savy son in law who told me to leave it until the site was back up and running as it was probably the hacker wanting my log in details.

when you saw that white page asking for login details, that was when the server was off line so I doubt any data entered went anywhere
        I hope not anywhere

          Hi Dean,

Thanks for all the effort you guys have put in to get it back up again.
I must admit I did miss it on here and I even tried another forum but soon realized it was the equivalent to a school playground

All these hacks point towards a cost avoidance in software upgrade or support. Surely its cheaper to secure the sofware properly than have to buy new servers... just saying.

I thought I’d been banned when I first saw it.

the first details I have been given is that it could have been due to a maintenance issue.

Could be Dean. I'm on a football forum run by Tapatalk and we were all temporarily banned while something went on at their end.
