  • E-mail notification

    I think the e-mail notification system might have stopped working. Possibly since the recent server re-boot?

      I get daily summary notifications, and they came through as usual yesterday evening (at 21:03 BST).

        I am working on it, it appears that some ISP's think that TSF does not exist do the emails are not being delivered they are being bounced back to the server with a error message that the sender does not exist!

        Strange one this but I am going through the configuration of the mail server to see if there are any errors, I'll let you know how things go.

        will probably take a few hours to go through everything.

          Thanks Ferret. As I use my blackberry through the day and leave my computer off, I find the email notification very valuable and helpful (especially now that I'm trying to sell a few cues)

            Everything should be back to normal now guys the only people who will still have trouble are the people who have wired broadband through resellers but that should be resolved within 24 hours.

            Resellers have tighter restrictions that mainline ISP's and they do not update their DNS as often.

                    I think it is just you, I am not seeing any email problems on the server, check your spam folder.

                      Thanks ferret. Don't have a spam folder that I'm aware of. Have checked my user settings and everything seems to be ticked correctly. If its just me thats having the problem then don't worry about it. Maybe it'll sort itself out in time.

                        I just noticed what ISP you are with, no wonder you are having problems, in fact I am surprised you ever got your notification email to join the forum.

                          I just had another look at the mail settings and there was a slight problem with the servers host name which I have now fixed, this may of caused a few mail problems with small ISP's but the big boys would of not been effected.

                          Car you now recieving emails?
