Name change

Is it possible to change my name, I chose cazmac1 because I used it before and could remeber it easy. I really don't like it and would like to change it if possible.

Seems a bit silly to me, For god sake it only a bit of fun, there is no financial gain in having a second member ship and the administrator could always close the original account.. Also Just because an account/ membership has the same IP address, it does not prove that a member has multiple memberships. There is every possibility that two people could share the same PC. Like a father and son???

You can not change your name because of the load on the server it would cause to search the database for every instance of your username and change it to a new one.

This is not a small forum, the database contains, 19,346 members, 19,900 threads and 326,790 posts

Why do you want to change your name cazmac1? I rather like it and it is an unusual name.

As you said, one would think it possible to delete the account and let you open another, but suppose rules are rules.
