Because this bulletin board code doesn't read HTML code. Your table code is pure HTML code. It's similar to trying to make a C++ parser read Javascript. Two different languages. Not possible.

but it used to work before...
now even the tables, that were there, reverted though.(except in the Stats section it seems)

Perhaps an update ruined it. Or a change of settings. I know a simple a href used to work before also, but no longer. Perhaps it's a security measure to weed out unwanted HTML code.
