E-mail notification

Not getting my e-mail notification for new posts to threads I am subscribed to. Last e-mail was received on 12th May 2011.

I am not seeing any problems on Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail, have you tried checking in the spam folder ?

If the mail is not in the spam folder you would have to notify your mail provider telling them that mail from thesnookerforum.com is user subscribed mail and you are not receiving it.

All mail is being sent form the TSF servers just fine and none of your emails have bounced back at all, some times we get bounced back email from providers that say our mail servers are not setup properly but they are setup to all industry standard guidelines.

As for people on TalkTalk get a decent ISP, TalkTalk are crap, if you use email with them STOP, go get yourself a Gmail account - http://mail.google.com

Hi ferret, I've always used talktalk since becoming a member and have never had any problems with them, they may well be crap but I find it a bit strange that we all started to have this problem at the same time?

I'm signed with talktalk, but my email account is with hotmail?

I am not having these problems so it can not be a software issue, there are no errors on the server regarding email and there have been no changes to the forum software in the last 30 days so the problem is not coming from our end.

All I can suggest is follow my instructions above, if the emails are not in your spam folder then check with your mail provider also check your mail settings in your user control panel on here.

I dont see any problems with the settings on my gmail account or the control panel on here.

Can you send me a test email from admin email address and will see if get it.

I am another who has not had any notifications since the 12th May. All my settings on the forum have not changed. Nothing has gone into my spam for months and also my provider (Sky) confirms that the forum address has not been inadvertently added to my Spam/blocked listings and is not being blocked.

This problem has occurred a couple of times over the last year or so. It get fixed without any action from me so I don't know who is doing what.

Still no e-mail notification...... my provider is sky and my account is with hotmail, checked my junk mail folder but nothing in there from the snooker forum!!

I have gmail and for me it's a hit-and-miss thing as I get some notifications and miss others. I sent you a PM with the details on one of my own strings and I've also noticed I'm not getting notification on some other strings which I used to get before the changes.

I have also check my spam multiple times but nothing from TSF has ever appeared in there. Not sure what the problem is and as bigmeek says, it seems to sort itself out by itself after awhile.

Lol, this is who i'm with and never had any bother before, so it must be down to TSF somehow, not bothered anyway as saves me from un-subscribing from the threads I read them all anyway so will get to it sooner or later
