Looking into it a bit further, it appears that blue is sort of mildly bad, one might consider it half a red.

I was blue-repped for saying, in this thread, how much rep I had, in reply to the previous thread wondering how many I had! The comment was "Do not show off!" even though my post indicated how little regard I have for rep points of any colour!

So I was asked a question, and for giving the answer I was blue-repped!

And the funny thing is, the blue-repper was someone who has never even posted a message once!

Anyway, I have just tried to rep a post for the first time and I see two buttons, "I approve" and "I disapprove" – so I'm not sure how three colours are possible!

TS, blue(grey) rep is from members without rep-power. Can be positive or negative.
btw. your rep would count for 3 points.

Blue can be positive as well. i got one with the comment: lol! and another one: well said! i dont want to spare the red one though. It said:

"what an awfully pathetic post, paul that is just childish and stupid. Get off this board and dont come back". Well said, I think.

Red is "I disapprove" and green for "I approve". The blue/grey comes from the person that has no reputation power, and both positive and negative reps from these persons are grey and counting for 0 rep points

I also got a grey/blue one yesterday for a post in 'Hendry' -(sorry can't do links) which was a jokey reply to Paul. Can't imagine who could have repped me for that.
