Getting a message denying me access to Homepage when trying to log on. Any ideas.

Something still not quite right. The e-mail notification of Sidd's post was "gobbldy-gook". No green banner but the blue link was there and it took me to The Forum OK. When I clicked on HOME then FORUM I got a message saying there was "A loop re-direct".

I am having the same problem with accessing "your profile"..

That is because as a new member you have limited access to sensitive parts of the forum like private messaging and members profiles, once you have 10 posts and have proven yourself as a contributor to the forum these options will open up to you.

Random question but if you have been reading for the last few months but only joined this month can I ask how you have been reading the forum!!!! just that there is a character limit on forum posts for guests, this is to encourage people to sign up to the forum.

When you get your ten posts you can change your email address no problem from your control panel but remember when you do this your account will be turned into a pending activation account again and you will have to click a link in a new email confirmation email similar to the one you had when you signed up.

I joined in october with a different username, but changed to this username in february

By the way:I found out that if you use google search you can access the snookerforum archives without logging in.
