Is there any way to turn off the feature where you get an e-mail every time someone replies to one of your posts?

I get back from holiday to find over 600 emails, 95% of them from this board! - and it took an age to delete them I can tell you!

    Little help?

They were pretty useful back when the board only had two or three posts per day, though I'd imagine they could be annoying these days. They can be turned off, or even fine tuned to selective threads to your taste. See this thread for details:

        Curtis?

Have a look in My Panel -> Edit options. Is 'default subsciption mode' set to 'do not subscribe'? If not, change it.

If it's not that then you might still be subscribed to a load of older threads from before you changed the option. Go to My Panel->List subscriptions to see them, and delete if there are any there.

If you've done both of those then I'm stumped .

I should also mention that PM notifications are a seperate option, you can uncheck that under My Panel->Edit options as well if you prefer.

Your Automatic Thread Subscription Mode was still set to:

          Subscribe with no notification

          I updated your profile to:

          Do not subscribe.

You will have to go into your CP and remove any threads you are currently 'subscribed' to.
