why do I get Direkt antworten when I try to reply to some thread?

you see these words in the green banner across the top of the reply box to any post/thread.
yep, I would say that I have seen it for a long time, it was there on .com as well IIRC

Yes, I've just seen it. I thought this would perhaps only be seen by forum members stating their location as Germany, but as you live in the UK it makes it even less understandable! I don't get it ....
