'back' button not working properly

Starting today, when I open a thread to read and then want to go back to the main page I click my 'back' button to show previous page but it stays on the page that I have open. If I double click it(which I never had to do before) it goes back after a try or two.

Did the spammers do something to the TSF site?

Its a javascript error in your browser I get this every now and then on other sites, I usually just close the browser and restart it and it works again.

Failing that to get back to the front page just click the forum logo or if you have navigated from a specific forum section then you can click on the breadcrum links just below the main navigation, they look like this -

Still have the same problem. Your other suggestions do work but I'd like to be able to just click once on the 'back' button like I always have. I'm not that handy with computer problems. Any other solutions?

I had the back button problem a couple of days ago. Also had problem with the "hover over hyperlink" functionality. Re-installed my browser (I'm using Mozilla Firefox) and everything back to normal again...

'Back' button working fine now after about a week. Fixed itself as far as I can see.
