Hi Robert, it is real nice of you trying to sort out all this mess without any apparent input of any of the new owners. Guess, we can only hope not to run into bigger problems at the moment...

I use only IE and the pager stuff behaves odd there. Can't check the PM issue, as I haven't turned notification on.

Two problems that really start to annoy me (I know it's not your fault Robert )
broken links for threads ("Invalid thread URL specified.")
I can never go to the last post directly.

Just to make sure: This is general thing, right? Not a problem with my browser/PC whatever?

I still experience the same thing. Can approach some threads only from the forum page. the last post "click" does not work and i get logged out for no reason.

Ekphantos - Those are a general problem, they're to do with the formation of the links on the homepage, everybody will be experiencing them. Only the pager problem seems to be browser specific.

You've probably realised this already but just to be sure, the broken links you mention do work from the forum views. If you normally use the homepage to browse (as I do) you can jump directly to the section the thread is in using the rightmost link, so it's only one extra click. The 'last page' links work from the forum view too.

Paul - The logging out problem isn't something I've experienced, it might be worth clearing your TSF related cookies and restarting your browser just to be sure it's not a local glitch. Anyone else getting this?

As for the others, I haven't forgotten but I'm still trying to get an admin to take notice. I emailed again yesterday, no reply yet but I'll let them have Easter sunday off.

Now I have another problem, kind of opposite of my log out problem I was writing about earlier. There's a computer I use occasionally, so I always log out of the forum. Today, when I was using it, the forum did not log me on! I mean, the login and password were correct, after I hit Log in button, the redirection screen appeared, but when the redirection finished, I still was not logged in. Tried several times to no success. The browser was IE, but that surely was no problem, as it logged me on to other sites with no problem. On my home comp, where I don't log off, everything works fine so far (knocks on wood)

I noticed that a few days ago, thought my rep didn't get anywhere, but when I tried again to give rep for the same post, I got the message: "You cannot give Reputation to the same post twice". The same thing happens with rep I gave last night... I will check with the person who must have received it and let you know.

well, I have received some reps during last days, so I guess repping is working (at least they are creating entry in the forum database), maybe just the link for the page you are being redirected after clicking 'Add to reputation' button is messed up, so it gives out invalid URL error.

That's probably it April, I just got confirmation from a person I gave rep to last night that it has been received. So that feature works fine, even though we can't tell immediately.

Ok, right, obviously I wasn't here for the last two weeks but I encountered some strange flaws today that have never occured before. So, I was wondering if that is a forum thing or if my computer has gone mad in my absence (I seriously hope it's the first option as I would have to burst into tears and get a nervous fit if it were the second ).

Firstly, for some weird reason, I look at some pages of the forum and then suddenly I am logged out. It doesn't seem to follow any particular pattern but it's rather annoying to log in again every few minutes or hours.

Secondly, everytime I click on the link that should direct me to the last post of a thread, I end up being directed to the first one. I mean it's just one more click to get to the last post but still... I am a spoilt brat and used to the conveniences of this board.

I'd really appreciate any sort of help, advice or reassurance as to the perfect working condition of my personal computer... *angst*

Yes, a_g, it's not just your comp! You will also find many of the links don't work (I think when clicking on threads from the Home Page or "My Panel" (well, your panel, not mine).)
