Andriod app - Force Close

anyone else have this problem?
I find that when someone posts with a emoticon that is not from the set through the forum and I try to open the thread I get the Force close (or Report) buttons and I can't read the thread?
Specially today, the MW pro thread closes and I think it is the smilie Jim Evans used. on the PC I see a square box and not the smilie but on the phone it crashes the thread.

phew thought it was just me
I remember when Stevie Removal Man joined his posts would do the same error, so I asked him what he was doing and he said he had an addin with extra smilies and this was causing the error
