"Views" not working correctly?

What's up with the 'view' count?

Having just put up the UK Overall predictions thread, I went back into it to check something and noticed that Robert602 was also viewing.

So I knew the view count must be at least 3. But it is still 1.

Since then a couple of others were viewing the thread but the count still hasn't been increased.

Something happening?

happened with my telford review as well. there were 5 people reading it but just 1 view. later it said 20

The view counts were set to be updated hourly, I've now set them back to immediate (although we may have to go to periodic again if this has a noticeable effect on performance).

Sorry. Unfortunately it seems the old board didn't store the raw data that the new board needs to rebuild ratings, so they were lost in a rebuild shortly after the upgrade. I could restore them from backup or (easier) manually restore the ratings of particular threads if you'd like.
