Can anyone please tell me if the rare game of bar billiards is still a recognised sport

It is played extensivly in the South East and there are many active leagues. I believe the world championship was played recently in the Channel Islands. F.

I used to play in a pub league years ago and miss the game big-time
Most of the pubs that used to have a table are either closed down or got rid of the table.
Been asking the committee of our club if we can get one, as they do not take up much space and just need a corner to slide into
oh, the memories...

yeah i fell that bar billiards is a more relaxing and fun cue sport
dont understand why you barely find any table anymore
