The World Ladies Billiards Championship has just been won by Anuja Thakur from India, beating Lynette Horsburgh in the final.

Results from the EABA website:HERE
The standard of billiards was pretty good - the 3 Indian girls were particularly impressive, with several of the 'home' players also showing that they played billiards, rather than 'snilliards' (snooker-billiards!).
Hopefully one or two of these players may now have a go at some of the national 'open' competitions.
