Amazing game, I've watched bits of Blomdahl, Sayginer and others before but they never fail to impress. That second shot is fantastic, plain ball using two and then five rails with just enough weight. A few of Sayginers in his 15 run are close too, and of course his trick shots, with his control of otherworldly amounts of spin, are almost unbelievable.

I only wish I could appreciate the game better - I'm not really able to see the possible shots and know the difficulty of the positions. I've never even seen a table to give it a go myself and coverage on TV is pretty rare. Thanks for posting Hege.

Bongo - it comes up in a popup window so just make sure that's not being blocked by anything. Edit: And if you're still having trouble you can use http://www.sangleeinternational.com/vid2.html to go straight to video 2, just change that number on the end of the address for the others.

That second shot is obscene and to think he meant it. Did he?

The level of difficulty reminds of Reyes against Strickland where he banks the cue-ball twice across and cuts in the 6-ball on the top rail!

Yes, make no mistake, he meant it that way.

It's from a match he won fairly comfortably, 35-11, so probably he was in the mood for playing an exhibition type of shot when the match was practically over anyway.

They weigh about 215 grams each (nearly 100 g more than a snooker ball?), 1 cm wider than a snooker ball, also the cloth is really thin and the tables are heated to at least 5-6 °C above room temperature. All this makes for very good roll.

                      (thank you wikipedia!)

I am flattered ! It's actually Mr. Blomdahl.

Yes, we have a table in our club so I play every now and then.

Quite fancy having a go at carom having seen it on TV but suppose it would take a long long time to build up a decent knowledge of all the angles for three cushion billiards. Have had a look around the net and would seem to be very difficult to obtain a table anyway in the UK without bringing it in from overseas.
