Archer was fantastic yesterday.From 1-5 to 6-5 it is rare even in pool.

9-4 down, the game is up but it seems that there'll be a campaign on the European side to hold on and get the first two points on the board, a third and it may make the Americans sweat a little.

The thing is that apart from Day 1 the Mosconi Cup has been fairly even, the last two days have been 5-3 to the Americans who fully deserve it this year but in reality it should be 8-5 and its the gap that cooked the goose of the Appelton goose last night

Europeans didn't look much of a team when the team spirit was needed. But there are only singles matches tomorrow so, who knows, maybe that suits them better and they'll have a chance after all.
