Hatch is far from an unknown in pool circles. He simply hasn't featured in enough Matchroom or international events but the man can certainly play as those of you who have been watching have seen. He beat Appleton in a race to 100 10 ball challenge match for $40,000 earlier this year. No mean feat especially as Appleton was the reiging World 10 Ball champion at the time. Further details here http://nycgrind.com/?p=4039

      Anyways, go Team Europe!

Europe 10-7 down, still a chance but no more errors! (first to 11.)

Yep, I miss Tony Drago being part of the team as well!

I bet on Darren in this match. Oops it cost me. People in the states love Darren.

Dennis has always been world class. He just doesn't play in world class events.

I'm not sure how selections are made; however, you don't always see the best players from the states. This year, they allowed the public to vote on two players to be selected. Hatch and Oscar were chosen.

                            Archer is always top notch.
                            Hendry, Davis, and Ronnie follower.

For those across the pond that care, I think Lewis will pulverize Jenson!
