Congratulations England,World Champions
I must pass on my congratulations to the whole England team in the World Championships at Blackpool.I ,in particular,wish to wholeheartedly praise two players that I know through my local leagues.These two players are Lee Kendall and Gareth Potts.Lee has captained the mens team to the world title and Gareth just missed out in the mens singles final.Both men are great ambassadors for the sport and actively support the local leagues in Stoke-on Trent and Newcastle,a credit to the sport.I must also heap praise on Sue Thompson for becoming Ladies Champion for the 10th time.The juniors have won the team event and proved there is a lot of emerging talent,such as, Frank Costello,individual winnner.If you are interested check out the WEPF website.
