      indeed hege, and thats why i reckon that winner break matches, where the best players and the best breakers run away with a match can be equally, if not more boring.

      each to their own. no arguement, just a difference of opinion, or different taste.

        Some have suggested they should switch to 10-ball instead. That way you're not so guaranteed that a ball will be made on the shot, like the wing ball in 9-ball almost always goes down on a pro/match table. The break has a too important outcome of a match these days IMO.
