    Yeah, you get them unfortunately. Where's the enjoyment in that?? I still play the old rules with a few of my mates, but there's none of that. There isn't a rule as such, but the roll-up is a big no-no.

          Used to watch that every week, 20 year old Willie Thorne making pool look very easy as our local snooker players did when pool reached us, took a while to catch them up. Looked like an Arca table with the larger balls the same as the one in my local that I learned on.
          I remember the arm wrestling and a black guy called Clive Myers beating all the muscle bound men and giving them 'the stare' while doing it without breaking sweat
          Anyone here ever had a go at bar billiards ?
          There used to be a table at a local pub, The Corner House which is still going, I couldn't get my head around the rules, always knocking over the wrong peg and losing my whole score
