Hi Guys,
Me and my friends recently bought an 8x4 english table. The corner pockets i measured to be about 3 1/4" wide.
We are currently playing with 2" balls.
My question is: Has anyone tried playing with bigger balls 2 1/6" or 2 /14" balls on a smilar sized table?
I know 2 1/4" balls are mainly used on American tables.
Would the balls be harder to pocket but easier to control since they are bigger?
Would there be any downsides to using bigger balls? like for example would rail shots be close to impossible due to the larger size.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, before purchasing this table, we normally played on American tables. Just finding it a tad hard to adjust to the smaller balls/pockets.
Any information would be very helpful.
