What a silly rule! That's not fair!You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. And I think it's the same with the Ashes. Although they play five tests, the possibility of a draw (except when the current England bunch are playing) means that a tie is easily possible.Originally Posted by Cessy143
The fundament is that the holder has to be beaten, for the prize to be claimed back. It is a little odd why they don't just have an odd number of games (in a sport where a tie is unlikely/impossible), but there it is.Comment
