Hi, Can i just ask wad kind of hardness does mika immonen play with? I just got a kamui Medium. I know he play with a kamui, but the hardness?
Because i wanna play like him as well.
But I don't think The Iceman owes his success solely to the type of tip he uses... Mika can probably clear an open table playing left-handed using a broomstick handle of a cue with a piece of pencil eraser stuck at one end... he is that good... May be better off finding a tip you are most comfortable playing with. Personally, I prefer Everest tips on my Mezz.

Perhaps you'd like to share your experience with Kamui medium after trying it out?

will do! probably tmr! Is it ok to play immediately after changing to the tip? Because i was thinking, after installing, i would go and play straight away.

Usually, very little bedding in time is required for most laminated tips. Have fun!!

Hi all! Played with the Kamui Tip yesterday! It was great man~ it really holds the chalk well! all i can say it really is better than my original tip~
Nice to hear that... I've tried the 11mm Kamui blacks and tans before on snooker cues but wasn't able to get used to the reaction I get off them. I'd agree that thery're fine tips though.

ahh u mean u can actually use kamui on snooker cues as well? Not that good? U play snooker? I am still having trouble on snooker. ):
I'm not used to the "hit" or response I got from the Kamui tips...anyway, it's a personal thing. One man's meat is another's poison.
Haha. icic. True that "One man's meat is another's poison" . I find that snooker is a much more challenging game, i dunno how to describe, but the feeling that you get when u pot and have a good placing. red black, red black! haha.

May i ask where you usually play?
I tend to think of snooker, or more specifically, breakbuilding being akin to solving a puzzle... you unlock the table with the tools (i.e. skillset) you have at your disposal, the stronger and more complete your tools are, the better puzzle solver you become... it is in this way that snooker is similar to American pool... each has its own nuances though.
Don't really play that often nowadays. Just messing around, experimenting. You may chance upon me at Cue Room, Boat Quay. I work around that area.
