    Any views on the Powergide Pool cues with removable mini-butts?

    After years of using an old one piece snooker hall rack cue for 8-Ball I am thinking of getting a new one. The old one is just too dinged near the tip and it is getting very distracting.

    I was wondering if anyone has any views on the Powerglide Force with the removable 6" mini-butt? Certainly in our league you are frequently obstructed by all manner of objects and a lot of guys remove the butt of their 3/4 cues, but this leaves an overly small cue....

    I've got a Powerglide President that I've used for about 15 years now, and I love it. I find it a really nice cue to play with, and it's got the 6" mini-butt that you mentioned, which really does come in handy when you're in a tight spot.

      Well, I decided to get one as a new year treat. Bought it from Amazon of all places for £38.40 with free shipping. Arrived in 2 days and is totally straight, grain matches at the centre joint etc. Some crooks are selling this cue on eBay for £65, just shows it pays to shop around!!!
