  • What type of cue do you use?

I'm in Australia, and play pool although occasionally I'll have a crack on a full sized snooker table. My local pool hall has 8 X 4 competition sized pool tables with the standard (not U.S. squared) pockets.
Just wondering what cues other pool players are using? ie. Make, model, material, size, weight etc.
Do any of you play pool with American style billiard cues?

As a pool league competitor in my country I have only pool cues not snooker like 99% of this forum
In my case I have Predator Blak 2 (1st gen.) 19oz, break is Predator BK2 no wrap and Predator Air. I really like my cues and I wouldn't sell them for any money. Tip on break is leather-phenolic Icebreaker from Tiger and on playing cue Blak 2 is newest tip which is probably the best pool cue tip I have every tried, it's Tiger Onyx (medium hardness by default). And recently bought a kamui chalk 1.21 which is perfect combination to be really good in pool.

      Cue with a purpose

I play with a probably unheard of cue, "Legend". I haven't a clue of it's manufacturer, as it was given to me by my grandparents a few years back. They probably spent about $100 for it. It's a perfect cue for how I play. I've scuffed it up plenty, even removed the rubber butt and unstrung the lace a bit. Put it in a 30 year old rusty cornered case with no handle. Make it look like it's no better than your average house cue....but it's straight as an arrow. Ready to take on the local hustlers. Also, it makes the tournament competition think I'm not a serious player, and let down their guard.
