County Pool Teams.

Anybody on the forum play for their county at pool ?
I play for Warwickshire (try to play) and was just wondering if anyone else plays or used too for their county.

I did many years ago and was also on the ipa pool tour

I've played in a few B events for the super 11's and 15's in Scotland.

B's tend to be more about the craic and sharing an occassional shandy than
the serious business of winning the event. Great weekend away had by all.

When did you play on the IPA Tour ? I played on it for a couple of years 2007-2011

i play for surrey at u18s. we played warwickshire at great yarmouth this year.

I'm glad that weekends out the way !! We got through the 8.00 round then our next game was at 3.30 :grumpy:
In the next round we got our backsides kicked ! No excuses, they were the better team on the day. I think they got to the quarters.

Region 8 is a tough one. You got some good county teams in that section. How you getting on this season ?

We was the same payed at 8 then 3.30
Then all the way to 11.30 sat night
We lost Sunday morning in the last 16
The team that beat us got in the final

I play for Sussex in Region 7.

Region 8 is a tough one. You got some good county teams in that section. How you getting on this season ?

We're not doing bad we beat Derbyshire yesterday 23-21 and we also beat Nottinghamshire in the first match with something like 31 frames. But we lost our other one against South Yorkshire by like 2 frames or something.I've only dropped 4 frames so far so I'm quite happy with how I'm playing. Last year our best result was a draw, the teams improved a lot. You're right it is a tough region :snooker:
