My Tony Glover hornbeam is very close to your specs (17.9oz, 9.5mm) and it's a stiff cue and the shaft is a lot more smooth than ash but of course there's no grain. I do have a couple of Omin extensions which fit it and I have a new Aurora aluminum cue case which I paid $110.

I can sell the whole package to you for $700(CAN) + shipping if you'd like.
