  • England Trials And Intercounty Finals....

Has anybody qualified for their England trials or playing in the Intercounty finals at Great Yarmouth in March ?

Both, hopefully, assuming that one team beats another at the end of this week! Got my trials though :snooker:

Hi Luke ! You guessed right, I bet the user name gave it away
Northants had a great season again by winning the Region 5 and getting players through for trials.
Your team qualified for Yarmouth in March though did'nt they for coming top of the region ?

I don't think i'd be able to play at Bridlington because its a Blackball comp.
If it was'nt due to threat of being banned from the EPA for playing anything but their rules I'd possibly have a go.

The county team I play for (Warwickshire) is governed by the EPA and the rule set we have to play is World rules.
There are a few county teams now playing Blackball in the region I play in.

My local pool league play Blackball rules. I must admit I like both rule sets.
With the Newyear not far away I might start taking a closer look at Blackball

most ppl are really committing to blackball atm top pros etc try and give uk8ball a chance its played by so many ppl in general its a competative ruleset that regular players can associate with quite easy unlike world rules, i wish my local leagues played blackball going to next agm to try and get the on board.

dont think it will work too many old schoolers wont want a rule change from old tip tap epc shyte
