  • Help Setting Pool Team Up

Hi all I have recently joined a local pub pool team in the Everards league, Leicester on a thursday, the team is not run well and we never have enough players, can you guys give me some tips on how to attract some descent reliable players e.g. team trials posters if anyones got a template or any other tips.

We need six players minimum as theres six single matches and three double matches. I was thinking maybe do a pool knockout competition, anyways any advice is welcome.

Just put a poster up like you say, which team do you play for? I've been playing in that league for over 20 years.
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

also ask around the league and league bosses they may know of people either new to the area and looking for a team or existing league players looking to move.
          good luck

              don't need a template
just include the details of when you play (day, start time) and where.
also other details like pub pays for practise and the match and provides food
I would not put your personal phone number on the poster but arrange with the bar staff to take name and number, say on the poster to leave details at bar

Maybe put the word around in other local bars as counterthorpe is quite a way out of town. Try Blaby as well. Good luck
