Has begun! I'm not sure which bright spark decided it would be a good idea to put it on at the same time as the UK champs, but they are not on my Christmas card list.

I wouldn't be so sure that it is a blackspin ferrule. You can't use brass ferrules to play 9 ball pool so it has to be a composite material of some sort. Both Drago and Steve Davis used converted snooker cues when they played 9 ball and both had a fibre type ferrule. Whether its white, black or whatever the colour, doesn't mean to say its a blackspin.

could be blackspin but I doubt it
there are other American ferrules that also have similar inner core features like Blackspin but MW did mention that they are not the same as his systemUp the TSF! :snooker:

It is good viewing the Masconi Cup and well worth watching.
I still watch in amazement at how fast that Simonis cloth is and the width of the pockets ( or should i say buckets )on those small tables! The cue ball though just keeps going and going and going like it is rolling down a concrete driveway! If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???
