Just been looking on Azbilliards forum and god the yanks don't half make excuses to why they lose. Blame everyone and everything else apart from themselves.

Races of 5 are to short
We are gamblers not tournament players
Euros had home advantage (well what happened last year then? lol)
    Euro crowd sharked us

the list of excuses is endless.

Funny they moan as we have won 5 years in a row and they say the format of the MC is flawed. Yet when they were winning year after year in the early years of the MC everything was fine haha

Gotta laugh at some of the comments in that topic, suggesting Darren Appleton , Mika & others should play for USA because they live there now haha

Hmmmm, if we can't beat em, they should join us, good theory. Also, races to 150? It would go on for about six months.

They'd have a hissy fit if Shane Van Boening lived in England for a bit then switched over and started playing for Europe.

That was comical reading.trying to poach our players crying it's not fair we have to play verses a continent.Man some of them american guys are such bad losers.the post that made me chuckle most was lets see how they fair if wee played a team Germany or a team Finland or a team Britain.A team Britain would horse them too. It's pretty much been mostly brit players in the mosconi for as long as i have been watching it.

Managed to catch it all on Youtube over the weekends. Exciting stuff indeed. So emotional at the end, especially when it was announced that it was Johan Ruijsink's last year as team captain.

SVB was gone in the last two match. Made me wonder why he was fielded in what turned out to be the deciding match against Nick Ekonomopoulos straight after his loss to Darren Appleton.

The difference in class and depth between the two teams was apparent.

By AZB standards, that is an extremely sane thread.

                It's one barking forum...
