7ft table markings

What is the correct distance for baulk line and black spot on a UK 8 ball 7ft table please?


I've read 4 different web sites all giving different measurements.

1. Baulk = 1/5 of table measuring cushion to cushion
Black = meeting point of corner pocket to centre pocket both diagonals.

2. Baulk + black spot both 16 inch from slate edge

3. Baulk = 16 3/4 inch from slate edge
Black = 19 3/4 inch from slate edge

4. Baulk = 16 3/4 inch from cushion
Black = 19 3/4 inch from cushion

The first option is correct as it allows you to mark out a table regardless of whether it is a 6 x 3 or 7 x table. Hope this helps .

Surely in option one that should read pink spot, not black
