I just signed up to this great snooker fourm!
Just thought i would introduce myself, my name is Alex and I'm from Wagga Wagga NSW, Australia.

I mainly play 9-ball and snooker!

Its great to see some Aussies on here aswell...

Anyone playing in Oceania 9-ball on the 28th of August in Melbourne??????

just forums would be the way to go, i know that on the NSW snooker forum they have let us no about it, that the main forum but there are a few more. i sure hope vinnie goes well. hes a fantastic snooker player and as far as i know a great pool player as well. GOOO VINNIE.

Anyway, back on topic:

After seeing Europe's excellent win in the Mosconi, me and nephew have really got into watching pool, so can anyone tell us when the next televised events are (we already know about the womens pool that's on Sky soon)?

The next one would probably be the World Pool Championship early next year. That is if they have organised it. It's usually on in November, before the Mosconi Cup, but sports politics have forced them to hold it next year at the earliest.
