Aussie Snooker Player in £1000 Challenge Match

Australian snooker player, Vincent Calabrese, now resident in the UK is pitting his cueing wits against the UK's Andy Nicholson in a £1000 per man 10-ball Challenge Match on Saturday 16th August.

The match is a race-to-21 racks and will kick off at about 7:30pm (UK time)

The match is the first challenge to be shown Live on Cuesport TV - it is free to watch all you have to do is login at http://www.cuesport.tv - registration is also free.

The match is expected to last around three hours ad some high quality pool will be on show.

vinnie is a good player from what i have seen, and a nice guy on the aussie forum i wish him the best of luck. i like to see the aussies doing well as long as its not in rugby!

It was a great match! 20 - 21 in the end Andy Nicholson won it - very close but Andy came through in the end with a very tense final rack.
