Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

here is what WPBSA say
https://wst.tv/ronnie-osullivans-records/
as said previously, whether you like or dislike Ronnie, voting for him and getting him a podium place at least would do our sport a boost to the public attention
How to Vote
You can vote DURING the programme which is on BBC from 20:00 Sunday 20th December 2020
By phone - numbers will be shown during the programme and there will be a charge. Wait for the voting to start else you may still be charged.
By Online - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/sports-personality/55254105
Free but you have to register to a BBC account, this is free and I have not had any annoying emails It is quick and painless and once you have it you do not get asked about it again when you try to watch videos off BBC websites
I am not sure if this is Country restricted?
Pass the word on, let's get snooker back into the heads of the publicUp the TSF! :snooker:

Love him or loath him, there's no disputing Ronnie has a personality all right and if it really was about 'personality' he should win it hands down when compared to the others on the list. Personally I find him intensely annoying, occasionally quite funny and generally a bit sad. I'll definitely be voting for him, both for the sake of the game and because he deserves it. I'd love to see him turn up amid all that BBC pomposity, scruffy as hell, with a bag of cheese & onion, spitting cue tips, lewdly winking at Gabby Logan and doing his best to promote his latest literary venture, he'd be like a fart in a Lanesborough hotel lift.
Go on Ron, give'm'ell!
-The fast and the furious,
The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

Sure, he probably has a good accountant who works to reduce his payments, but so does everyone in the world with money like that. My mother-in-law has money in trust and stuff like that, and she's not even particularly wealthy. He also has a foundation which gives a lot of money to kids charities, such as Save the Children, UNICEF and Great Ormond Street. As far as sportsman as role models, he does a hell of a lot more than most sportsman. I don't see Ronnie doing anything charitable with all his money. Most I'm aware of him doing is painting his fingernails. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
